Volunteer
Volunteers are integral to the RDA program experience is not essential as training will be provided. Everyone at a centre is important to us and we welcome enquiries from anyone interested in joining us.
Volunteers with RDA SA can commit to as little or as much time as they have available and there are jobs for everyone.
I always have a smile on my face when I see how much imapct we are making on the lives of clients. I too feel just as proud as them and get a sense of achievement from watching clients reach their goals, just as if they were my own family.
Coach
RDA SA programs are delivered by qualified coaches who have been especially trained under the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS). The harness driving equivalent to a coach is a ‘whip’.
Many volunteers have gone down the path of becoming a coach, and have found the experience incredibly rewarding.
Membership
RDA SA participants (clients, volunteers, carers and supporters) can join RDA SA as members.
Membership allows you to have a say in how RDA is run at a state or centre level.
The RDA SA Constitution requires every centre committee and Board member to be a voting (financial, special or Life) member of RDA SA.
Below are application forms for various categories of membership. Membership runs from 1 January to 31 December
