RDA SA State Office comprises of 3 employees and 1 volunteers. The role of the State Office is to manage the continuity of RDA services throughout SA and to foster and promote the integration of people with disabilities into community equestrian activities. It does this through providing governance, resources, the provision of support to it’s affiliated centres and acts as a formal authority.
Our vision is to remain innovative and to continue to provide opportunities for people with a disability to enjoy a sense of achievement, quality of life improvement, personal goal attainment and development of their life skills though engaging in our equestrian related activities. We are also committed to creating a safe, fair and inclusive environment for everyone involved.

Leanne Sanders, Executive Officer
Leanne has worked with RDA SA for ten years – firstly as Regional Co-Ordinator, then NDIS Manager, and now as Executive Officer.
With formal qualifications in Governance and Leadership, and over 30 years’ leadership experience in the public, private, and not-for-profit, sectors (including 20years in the disability sector) she is well positioned to lead RDASA to the next chapter of service delivery.
She writes, “Nothing pleases me more than working to support others to achieve their goals and the strategic priorities of the organisation”.

Meredith, Finance Manager
Meredith has worked in the equine and community services sectors for 20 years in a wide range of administrative and accounts roles and commenced volunteering at RDA SA in 2022.
She studied Agricultural Science at university and holds a qualification in book-keeping.
Tony, Volunteer Finance Officer
Tony has been an RDA Volunteer since 2013 involved in many aspects of the Association including as a RDA SA Board Member.
He is a former fish & chip shop owner, London taxi driver and self taught accounts wizard.
